We've sold out of CHOOSEDAY codes! Thank you to everyone who is taking part in Train it CHOOSEday and giving the train a go. For those of you travelling, you can still view the terms and conditions below. For those of you who have missed out on the free travel this time; we still offer amazing ticket types perfect for commuters who want to try the train.

T&Cs for Train it Chooseday 2023

  • The Train it Chooseday promotion covers journeys between any two stations within the West Midlands Railway’s zonal areas (1-5) .
  • The Train it Chooseday promotional code can be used on adult and child Anytime Day train tickets.
  • The Train it Chooseday code can only be redeemed once per account.
  • The Train it Chooseday promotion is available for travel between Monday 20 March – Friday 24 March 2023.
  • You can buy your ticket using the code CHOOSEDAY in advance from Monday 13 March 2023 until Friday 24 March 2023.
  • Train it Chooseday promotional codes are limited to 10,000 tickets for on sale dates between Monday 13 March – Friday 24 March 2023 and are on a first come, first served basis.
  • The Train it Chooseday promotion is only available for use on West Midlands Railway’s website and/or app for travel between Monday 20 March – Friday 24 March 2023.
  • The Train it Chooseday promotion is not available at stations, on board, or from station Ticket Vending Machines.
  • To use this offer, you must be travelling on an Anytime Day Single or Anytime Day Return ticket between two stations within the West Midlands Railway zonal areas (1-5) .

  • The restrictions on this promotion will be the station and route code combinations. The tickets are not limited to only WMR services but are set up to only allow travel between WMR zonal areas using selected route codes. There will be some carriers that travel between these stations using a different route code that will not be available. The promotion cannot be used to purchase tickets that are only valid on other operators’ services.

  • All passengers are required to have a valid ticket for all journeys and may be liable for a Penalty Fare if they cannot produce a valid ticket on request.
