We want your journey be as easy and stress-free as possible, from the moment you arrive at the station.
That's why we've invested in our train station car parks, creating more spaces in the process as well as made it easier to pay for parking. All this while achieving secure Park Mark Safer Parking accreditation at a number of stations.
Free parking & discounted parking
Most car parks in the Network West Midlands area are free. However, please be aware that Transport for West Midlands will issue Parking Charge notices for cars parked outside designated parking areas. Parking for blue badge holders is also free.
Vehicles with low CO2 emissions
You can receive a 50% discount on Monthly, Quarterly or Annual parking permits if your vehicle emits no more than 120 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer.
Vehicles registered with the DVLA as having an electric fuel type qualify for a 100% discount. The fuel type is indicated on the V5C document. Please note this discount is based on your vehicle emission status and not fuel type.

Parking charges at some stations
Get up to a 1/3 off normal rate parking prices after 10:00 during the week and all day Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.
Cheaper weekend parking charges are from Friday midday until midnight on Sunday. Good news if you fancy a weekend getaway.

Refunds for car parking
If you were unable to park in a West Midlands Railway 'paid for' station car park and have a valid car parking ticket, you are eligible to a refund for that day's parking.
How to apply for a refund
Requests for a refund must be made within 7 days by either post or email to the address below, stating where and when you were unable to park. Please supply evidence if you couldn’t park at the station e.g. ticket for another car park, if you had to park elsewhere.
Please note: if you have a car park Season Ticket you don't need to send in your ticket as Indigo Parking will already have your details.
What refund will receive?
You will be given a refund equal to the value of the charges paid e.g. Peak or Off-Peak ticket, Daily or Season Ticket. If you have a Season Ticket, the refund will be pro rata, e.g. Weekly: 1/5th of the total price paid.
