26-30 Railcard

If you bought a Railcard online but haven’t yet received it and are due to travel shortly, you can provide the email confirmation of your Railcard purchase together with photo ID so that staff can validate your discounted ticket. If you haven’t been able to purchase a Railcard online, you can buy most 1-year Railcards at any staffed National Rail ticket office. If you’re having issues with your existing Railcard, please contact the Railcard Team on Twitter, Facebook, 0345 3000 250 or [email protected]. For more info please visit: https://www.railcard.co.uk

We're delighted to confirm that the new 26-30 Railcard is here to stay and will be on sale by the end of the year.

Fantastic news! The results of the 26-30 Railcard trial are in and we’re happy to confirm that it's here to stay!

The 26-30 Railcard will be available for sale before the end of the year; but we don't have a fixed date yet because we need to update our systems and colleagues.

The 26-30 Railcard will remain digital only and with the same discounts as during the trial.

About the 26-30 Railcard

If you are aged 26-30 the National Rail 26-30 Railcard will save you 1/3 on leisure train journeys across Britain for just £30 a year.

It is the first digital-only Railcard and it will be available to buy online and downloaded to the Railcard app on a smartphone. Once downloaded you can then start travelling (and saving) straight away, with no need to wait for the post. If your phone runs out of battery or gets lost it can be swapped to another mobile device.
