A general view of Worcester Cathedral

This mighty cathedral, a glorious mish-mash of medieval styles, was founded in 680 AD and during Anglo-Saxon times became a centre of great learning - medieval university textbooks survive in the cathedral library today. Another must-see is the tomb of wicked King John. Gothic Revivalist Sir George Gilbert Scott oversaw the Victorian restoration.
