National Trust: Shugborough Estate: Winter Opening

Opening dates

Tuesday, January 1, 2019 to Tuesday, December 31, 2019
Cherub in the garden with the River Sow and mist in June on the Shugborough Estate, Staffordshire

The ancestral home of the Earls of Lichfield is now under the auspices of the National Trust. The Mansion and associated buildings are tucked up for the winter - but Park Farm, the walled garden, and 900 acres of ravishing Grade I listed parkland are still accessible to visitors, and the recently refurbished Mansion Tea Room is open for business. Take the Arriva 825 bus service from the train station to Little Haywood White Barn Farm and walk the short distance to the estate.
