Cattle in the park with the house in the background at Attingham Park, Shropshire

Built for the first Lord Berwick in 1785, the mansion chronicles the family's fortunes as a fascinating story of love and neglect. There are guided tours of the majestic house, two cafes and a children's playground as well as organic walled gardens and vast grounds to explore. Take the Arriva 19 service from the bus station, located close to Shrewsbury rail station, to Atcham and walk to the estate.
