Future US Presidents John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both made pilgrimages to The Commandery. This historic building, set amidst serene gardens, hosts displays about Worcester's history and the city's role in the development of British and American democracy. There is also an interactive English Civil War exhibition that brings visitors face-to-face with Oliver Cromwell.
