Disruption to services operating between Hereford and Ledbury

Network Rail is investigating an issue with the track between Hereford and Ledbury. Trains can continue to run between Birmingham and Ledbury but there will also be some cancellations and delays between Worcester and Ledbury.

Road transport has been organised to run between Ledbury and Hereford and there is additional road transport available between Worcester Shrub Hill and Hereford. In addition, West Midlands Trains tickets will be accepted on Arriva Trains Wales services between Hereford and Shrewsbury.

Steve Fisher, head of regional services at West Midlands Trains, said:

“The disruption will last until Network Rail engineers have completed their track inspection. At the moment we expect this to take the rest of today and would encourage customers to check before trying to travel tomorrow morning.”

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
