New Accessibility Signage At Aston Station

Tuesday, 28 May 2024

West Midlands Trains is committed to making all our services safe, accessible, and inclusive for all our passengers.

Whether this is supporting you with planning your journey, assisting with getting on and off trains or even just informing you of the facilities that are available to you while travelling.

The story continues:

In January 2024, West Midlands Trains installed a new accessibility signage at Witton station. Since installing the new signage customers have been experiencing a smoother way to board our services.

Jump forward to May 2024 and we have installed the same signage at Aston train station, the signage can be seen from both ends of the platform by station & onboard staff. Our accessibility and social media team travelled down to Aston with Cameron Wood to check out the new signage. Cameron was happy with the signage and Thanked WMR for all their effort in supporting disabled and older passengers on the network.

We are working forwards trialling this signage at other stations across the network and we cannot wait to see what the future holds.

West Midlands Trains takes all feedback seriously from our passengers, feedback helps us improve our network, always striving to put our best foot forward.
